Pay It Forward

Quote for today: "Pay It Forward" - Catherine Ryan Hyde

Not sure why this came to mind today, but I remember this movie I watched "Pay It Forward", based on the novel by Catherine Ryan Hyde ... not the greatest movie I've watched or anything, but it had this amazing ideal, of paying it forward.

What does that mean, well I think the author describes it best as a "plan to change the world for the better ... by doing something good for three people. But instead of paying him back, he asked them to 'pay it forward' by doing a favor for three more people, who in turn would help three others, and so on, each act a link in a chain of human kindness."

What it means for me, is a simple idea of passing on good will. If someone does something nice for you, sure thank them personally, but try and do something nice in return to them and others, so that the chain of kindness goes on. If everyone thought like this, imagine how different our world would be! :)

Well, that's it from me for a while, as I'll be on holidays for 2 weeks and probably won't have any chance to blog in that time, but when I return I shall be back to regular blogging ... until then remember to "Pay It Forward"! ;)

From bad to worse ...

Ok, so I failed in my attempts to bring you up to speed, and worse still, I never did "fill you all in on more details tomorrow" ... so I throw myself on the mercy of my blog readers (if indeed there are any left!)

So I plan to start blogging regularly again, and hopefully have an audience of readers who aren't disappointed. I won't even attempt to catch you all up on what's been happening, I'm just gonna clean the slate and start from right now ...

Today is Monday, a good day to start new things ... so here I shall start a (hopefully) regular thing, My quote for the day:
